[General] proposal for space utilization at the shop

I believe everyone unanimously agrees that the lobby( where you first come
into) is to be used as the kitchen. The bathroom of course will remain as
such and there are thoughts of turning the room next to it into a shower.
This is contingent on the plumbing being fixed and some water proofing. The
under-stairs closet should become a pantry. Matt R. will likely be using
the large rack at the shop as the new "server room". Large area present
upon leaving the lobby will be the predominant work/learning area. It will
remain mostly clear except for 4 large work tables and large active projects
in need of space. I propose the rack(server room) be placed next to the
stairs or in between the two( newly escapable!) windows. The loft space
above the kitchen will be general chill out space, used for hanging out more
so than working on projects. It is in need of lighting. Tools( in general)
will reside in the space next to the garage door opposite the storage room.
Wood working and welding will occur in the space in front of the garage
door( preferably with it open) or outside. The shelves in the storage room
will be arranged with non-electronic supplies to the left and electronics in
the middle "devolving" into electronic components to the far right. Stairs
will be built to the immediate right next to the entrance of the storage
room for access to the loft. This loft will be our library space containing
bookshelves a table in the center and a few chairs. Railing will be
installed on this loft same as the one above the kitchen. The room off the
main area will likely be used for storing items such as the engraver,
plotter, computer cart, etc for use either in that room or to be brought out
into the main area and returned when not in use.

This is only a proposal and if anyone has any other ideas for space
utilization, feel free to chime in. I've given this a lot of thought and
bounced it off a few board members who didn't seem to have any qualms with
it.
