      Perseid Meteor Shower is going on August 12th all night.  I'm going to
be be up on Monte Sano at the Von Braun Astronomical Society's Planetarium
watching starting 9pm that night.  Come up and see us!

    Meetup Description

On the evenings of 11 August and 12 August 2010 at 9:00 P.M. the Von Braun
Astronomical Society will have its gates open for people to sit outside with
folding chairs and blankets to watch the Perseid Meteor Shower. Come and see
bright and perhaps some dimmer Meteors streak across the sky. You can bring
water and snacks, no alcohol please, this is a state park event. The Moon
will be a waxing crescent, so both evenings will be dark as the meteors
streak across the night sky.
