[General] Raspberry Pi PS 5V Switching 1A

Are the 512MB ones using more power cause I knew the first round was maxing somewhere around 700-750mA. So that meant one of the blackberry chargers wouldn't provide quite enough but the newer smart phone chargers had enough umph with the 1A.
