Hello Makers!

After putting together a quadcopter with Brian at the shop, many people
have expressed interest in learning how to build their own quadcopter.

If you're interested, there will be a class/workshop on how to build your
own quadcopter from off-the-self components at Makers Local, tentatively
scheduled for Saturday, January 31st. If you have seen the quad that Brian
and I have built, the quads we will be building during the class will be
very similar, and hefty enough to carry a GoPro or other FPV gear! Here's a
picture of our mostly-assembled quad:

Attendance is free, but if want a quad to build, parts will cost from
$220-$310 depending on some parts you may already have. Check out the wiki
page for the event
<https://256.makerslocal.org/wiki/Build-Your-Own_Quadcopter_Class> for more
information on costs and parts.

If you'd like to order parts, send me an email, and we can work out the
payment. I can accept cash, PayPal, Bitcoin, RedstoneFCU Transfer, Google
Wallet, and a bit more.

I'd like to put in the orders for parts as soon as possible so that there
is plenty of time for the parts to ship, so please try to have orders in by
January 9th. Parts for each quad will be ordered as soon as I get payment.

Feel free to split the cost with a friend or two; flying a quad is a ton of
fun! Let me know if you have any questions or comments!

Cheers!
