[General] Anyone have film conversion tools?

I have various old films (from 6mm to VHS) that I'd like to convert to
digital so that it's viewable.  Anyone have advice on this or equipment
that could be borrowed?  I'm probably not going to buy something to convert
one tape, or pay a service without having some recommendations about their
technical quality.  Thanks!
