[ML-General] Need to have a trench dug

Expect $100-$200 per day and if they bring it and come back to get it,
expect an extra $35-$125 fee. Shop around! Many years ago, the prices
varied widely, but 3 years ago they were pretty close to each other. I
like the place nearest Airport Road on the Parkway. Suggest avoid the
newer one between that place and RFCU.

Remember, you'll have to close the trench afterwards, too. So, unless
you're willing to shovel (a LOT for 100 feet), you'll need to rent a
loader when the job is finished. If it is a one day or weekend job,
rent a subcompact tractor with backhoe and loader on it for a little
more than just a trencher. Some vendors will rent the weekend for
little more than a single day since they aren't open on Sundays anyway
-- BUT you must have it back at their place usually within an hour of
them opening on Monday to save the money.

You can learn to operate this gear in less than an hour and it is huge fun.

I have a sub tractor with loader but no backhoe. What part of the city
is the job and are you laying water pipe, electrical conduit, or ?
