[ML-General] LabVIEW Makers

Octave is the alternative to Matlab.

LabVIEW is a separate product that is quite pricey, last I checked.
National Instruments also makes a ton of cash on selling hardware.

As an interesting aside, this guy was my neighbor when I interned at NI.
Pretty sharp guy.
