For anyone that is curious they are having a QT embedded training in
December that I might be able to go to in Atlanta.
http://www.ics.com/learning/training/programming-qt-embedded-devices-decription
Will cover many different in-depth things. Might be a carpool opportunity
if enough are interested. Note however that this takes place during the
week of the Star Wars premier.

They also have formal QT desktop training which they recently held in HSV,
but the UAH CPE 323 class is cheaper to learn most of the same material.
I have met the ICS guys and they are pretty good at teaching this stuff.
The main guys that teach program this stuff all day for customers
(including embedded opengl stuff, databases, sensors, embedded I/O, etc).

David,

What exactly do you want to do with your QT application? Just display the
same (mostly) re-sizable GUI on different devices, or use special features
like Android sensors, Bluetooth, etc?
Creating basic widget apps with basic file I/O, TCP, etc is simple on
Win/Linux (learn in one weekend if you know C++). However Android QT is
more complicated. (not just development but also licensing)

Bill
