<br>That's true, you can use your paypal statement as proof of donation to makers local.<br><br>For donations made at the Makers Local Shop I can issue receipts for your records, or an end<br>of year receipt that confirms all donations made during 2008. <br>

I've made charity donations before and I've never had any trouble with the deductible. But I've had receipts to keep track of the amounts donated, and it's verifiable if the IRS does ask questions. I guess the paypal donations take care of that automatically.<br>
