I have joined a UAH group which is called the UAH Apollo Project. This group's goal is to design and create a flight simulator for the Apollo spacecraft. We will be creating everything in this simulator which will range from the software to every individual switch and dial that was in the original flight simulator. The length of this project will span about two years and we are currently in the initial stages of setting the major deadlines. Currently we are lacking EE's and CPE's, so the first thought that came to my mind was IEEE and the Makeshop may want to participate in this project. If you think that either IEEE or the Makeshop would be interested, please let me know and I would like to try and get some EE and CPE people on board to assist in developing the requirements. All majors are welcome to join our group and participate in the project.
