<br>Please this upcoming <b>Thursday, September 2, 7 PM </b>at the Huntsville - Madison County Main Public library in downtown for our September program. Our speaker for is Mr. Ethan Chew, HAL5 and Project HALO member, will give a talk about Huntsville folks (<a href="http://256.makerslocal.org%E2%80%A8%E2%80%A8" target="_blank">Makers Local 256</a> and some HAL5 members)'s involvements in "<a href="http://www.workshop88.com/space/" target="_blank">HackersSpace in Space</a>" by our member, Ethen Chew. Similar to HAL5's early Project HALO launches, the"HackersSpace in Space" is to "To send a weather balloon, with payload, into near-space to capture pictures of the Earth's horizon, to return the payload safely to the ground, and to retrieve the payload. The launches will begin in earnest on June 1, 2010 and end on August 31, 2010." <br>

<br><br>Makers Local 256 is a group of like-minded individuals who have created a hackerspace located in Huntsville, AL. We are a nonprofit organization helping to join experienced and inexperienced tinkerers in an educational setting to design and work on projects in all hobbyist/DIY fields, particularly where projects overlap multiple fields.<br>

Come out and share your Saturday afternoon with friends, good food and great conversations. We will also be showing you around our Project HALO workshop and show you want we are doing now.<br>
<br>We will provide hamburgers and hot dogs, condiments, utensils, plate and cups. <br><br>Please RSVP, by replying to this email, so we can do a head count, and let us know if you are bringing a side dish, desert, snacks or beverages.<br>
