We could use water as the working fluid and dump the heat into an old insulated water heater. This would then make it viable as a solar water heater as well as a building heater. The only issue is to heat our building (~25000 ft^3, from 50'x50'x10') overnight when we are using it will require a sizable amount of water to store heat in or a lesser amount of water at a high temperature. Will need to look at the thermodynamics of it to determine those sizes as well as at what insulation values and temperature ranges can it be feasible.
Install a serpentine ABS pipe and circulate water through the pipes using a pump driven off a solar panel. Then inside use a heat exchanger. Discuss.
