Any students want to grab a copy for the shop? It's nodelocked, so we
would need a Windows shop machine to run it. (Kiosk?)
I registered for a copy that the shop can use. They sent me an email that
has a link to download the software. The link is only valid for 24 hours
from the time the email was sent. They didn't say the link would only be
good when I registered. I found out when I received my email. Sorry.

I'm on my way to Dragon*Con right now. I can forward the email to Bob and he
can install the software if he would like.

I dont know what the procedures are for installing software on the kiosk but
I have a license that the shop can use...
A caveat on that, the license is only good for 12 mos and the student
version is not compatible with the commercial versions.
If that craps out, I have a EDU email that I could use as well. Would
Awesome - thanks Kix - have a great time at D*C. Go ahead and send it
to me and I'll download it - if you have a separate license file, go
ahead and send it my way when you can.

Now....to figure out a Windows install...
Much thanks
The Kiosk is Fedora. I don't know if Justin/Tim plans to dual boot
it to Windows, it wasn't really meant for that.

How does the software like VMs? I could run it on the server box at
the shop and people could just RDP into it when they want to use the
software.
Looks like Bob's going to need to find a copy of Vista Business or
Enterprise, or 7 Professional, Enterprise or Ultimate in any case.
Anyone got one they want to give to the shop to use for this? The VM
host at the shop fits the hardware requirements.
SolidEdge will work on a VMs but for heavy work I wouldn't recommend it.
