I remember you talking about this project before, but I don't remember some of the other details. Is this a DVD drive in a laptop or something else? If it's a laptop, hopefully it's a full IDE interface that isn't locked to a particular type of device.<br>

As far as replacing it, this may not work, as your device needs to<br>
