DLP's use bulbs, CRT's do not. Fresnel displays of high quality are
as good as flat screens; those of mediocre or poor quality have
limited field of views. A "rear projector" cabinet unit still uses
pj technology; it's all in there behind the cabinetry. I still have
a Barco here at home built that way. :)

That TV is a CRT unit. Not DLP. David, it is not a projector,
it is a rear projection cabinet. (It uses a fresnel display,
which makes it useless if you aren't sitting directly infront of
it)

Bulbs? You sure it isn't actual projection tubes? They are
about $700 each if they're 7 inch and $1200 each if 9 inch.
Probably 7 or 8 inch tubes. I don't personally know that
model off the top of my head.
If anyone cares, there are 3 bulbs in this thing that are
roughly $100 each.
