Hey Guys, I'm looking for a folks who can swing my my office next Tuesday around 5:30 to be a practice audience for a coworker that's giving a big presentation at a trade show in a couple of weeks. My director asked me to invite some folks over who have a CPE/EE background and could understand and ask questions about an embedded touch screen LCD focused presentation. FDI is buying pizza and beer for those that attend! (If you don't drink beer, we'll have cokes too ;-)<div>
<br></div><div>Here is the abstract for the talk: This presentation is designed to give the participant a basic understanding of how to develop a simple GUI application using FDI’s uEZ Rapid Development Platform software, an FDI development kit, and Segger’s emWin graphics package. We’ll start the lecture with a quick introduction to uEZ and emWin and where to download them. This will be followed with images showing several Real World Applications that have been developed using uEZ and emWin. The first major topic of the lecture will be “emWin Basics.” This will go over several basic features such as the windows manager and widgets. The next major section will cover the steps required to make a full picture frame application. This will cover how to use the uEZ RX62N Direct Drive template project to create two different windows in emWin. This will also show how to load and display images from an SDCard. Lastly, we will give basic information on FDI’s Direct Drive LCD platforms and where to order them. At the end of this lecture the participant should have the basic knowledge to start a simple project using uEZ and emWin</div>
<div><br></div><div>If you've never heard of emWin, Renesas or uEZ, no worries.....it's all product stuff in the world of microcontrollers drawing things on embedded displays.</div><div><br>We're looking at doing this at 5:30 on Tuesday (Oct 16th).
