I am. I used to do the Red Cross "nurse" thing when my grandsons
were at school and i really enjoyed that.<br>

Recently signed up for the United Way mentorship program but locally
the only "opportunities" are asking for 2 YEAR commitments with many
hours per week. <br>

I am the sixth grade science teacher at Madison Elementary
and I have the opportunity to sponsor an after school STEM
(science, technology, engineering and math) club starting
January 2014. I want students to have the opportunity learn
about STEM careers and to experience some exciting hands on
activities. Our club will meet on Monday afternoons from
2:40-4:00. Does your makers local have guest presenters or
contacts for people who might be interested in sharing their
career experience with these students? I would welcome any
information that you can provide.<br>
