Went yesterday. The tldr version is LabVIEW home is a full featured professional (I think? It's the lower of the 2 varients that doesn't have graphical diff built in) version for $50 with the only restrictions being noncommercial/educational usage and a home version watermark on the code and frontpanel. Windows only, but they're considering Linux (with enough feedback/requests).

Also pimped: labview makerhub, drivers to control an arduino, chipkit, and i think launchpad, and they partnered with sparkfun and digilent to create combopacks with labview home + one of the aforementioned devboards + optional sensors.

I'm sure they'll be touting labviewmakerhub.com, too.

Aside from the "noncommercial, nonacademic use" clause, the main thing
that could be considered a restriction is that it does not come with
the "Application Builder" (which provides the ability to generate a
standalone executable), which means you need to be running the LabVIEW
environment to run your program. But doing so is pretty much normal in
the LabVIEW ecosystem anyway -- the app builder even comes to
commercial users at a premium. That's not taking into account the
Arduino interface they'll be talking about tomorrow.
