<p dir="ltr">It is a heated bed. I have not had a great deal of success with ABS filament. I'm considering building an enclosure, but PLA is super easy to work with. I don't remember if I mentioned it or not but the tinkering I have had to do has been because I messed with things I shouldn't have. Changing and loading filament was a challenge at first but now I'm quite proficient at it.</p>

                          I still recommend the Printrbot Simple Metal
                          to a lot of people. it's really good for the
                          cost. Everyone I know who has bought one has
                          been printing within 30minutes. However,
                          everyone I know who's bought one has also
                          started making major modifications to the
                          printer within the first week. That might be
                          more because I know a lot of tinkerers and
                          makers though. :P<br>
