[ML-Hams] New Yagi Antenna and Next Meeting

I just wanted to share that at the Rummage sale I picked up a nice Yagi
antenna that's part of a Verizon Cell Signal repeater.  I got it for $10!

Our next meeting is next Tuesday (3/31) at 7pm in the A/V Area.

Hopefully we will be an impressive looking lot when Mayor Tommy Battle
strolls through, thought I don't believe anyone knows yet what time he's
coming by to tour the make shop.



Hunter was able to mount one of his (non HAM) 802.11 antennas on the side
of the building.  He said that he can pick up a lot of Access Points with
it, but his target AP isn't visible yet.


Bruce, Jake, what do you guys think about bringing your radios and long
co-ax cable on Tuesday to see how much the fluorescent light ballasts
interfere with our Rx/Tx?
