[ML-Hams] new mast

The one thing we might want to weld is a base plate.  They were ungodly
expensive at hamfest, for what amounted to a cafeteria serving tray sized
plate of steel with a 1 ft steel pole welded to its surface.

Any tips on where to get scrap steel plates? :)
