That's because it's a 2 MHz wide receiver at widest setting. You need 6 
MHz to receive TV. The wider the window, the more CPU you need to 
receive. I seem to recall there being an external clock input somewhere 
in the thing, but I've never used it. 

You can put multiple receivers on a system and it bring them up and tell 
them apart -- but enumeration may vary. 

Great for watching 145-147 to see if there is any repeater activity, or 
checking out what is out there above the TV band. Or checking out FM 
radio between 88 and 108 MHz.
