The TR-751 is the prize. Not the greatest oscillator in the world, but 
that radio is all-mode, so it will do everything. Just a little limited 
in terms of memories. 

The top radio can still be used, but it needs a CTCSS tone encoder, as 
does the radio at the bottom. Between the top radio and the bottom 
radio, you can make an Echolink node, or an All*Star node given some 
other equipment. Just remember to mute the RX when the TX is active, and 
use separate antennas. 

Since NARA mostly uses 100 Hz PLs, a 100Hz tone generator that makes +/0 
500 Hz deviation will get the job done. You can do this with RC time 
constants and a 555 or a two-transistor multivibrator.
