Here's an update from the last HSIS Meeting.

There will be another piggy back launch via UAH on Saturday June 5th. Currently going are Satyam, Rohan, and Ethan.

The payload hardware is comprised of 1 camera, and one Ham radio "chirper" that operates in the AM radio band

Ethan says the chriper runs about $10, and the equipment to track the chirper we can be borrowed.

Using the chirper will take longer than using GPS due to triangulation times, however it's much cheaper (which both saves our pocket books and gives us points in the competition)

The payload packaging is comprised of one styrofoam blocks with holes cut out to fit the camera and chriper, a second styrofoam block on top of that, and the both blocks samwhiched between two firm cardboard-like plates.

There exists a chemical combination that may allow us to generate hydrogen faster than electrolysis. Cost unknown. Ethan, are you looking into this, or need it delegated?

Next meeting is 7PM Monday. We will be working on packaging the payload, and anything else I forgot.

Ethan, would you be able to locate a chirper for us to purchase\borrow by Monday's meeting?
With that and the camera Satyam has, we should be able to do packaging on Monday.
