Hey makers!

Makers Local 256 has its 10th birthday this March 10th (so thematic!), so
we'll be throwing a little party to celebrate our storied history, and the
community that we've built — together. Personally, I've made wonderful
friends through Makers Local 256, not to mention tons of inspiration and
real-world know-how. I don't say that lightly. We rock! You rock!

So, enough of the sappy stuff. Here's how to help us celebrate:

What: ML256 Turns 10!
When: 6:30pm, March 10th, 2018
Where: The shop! Clearly! (414 Stevens Ave, Huntsville, AL 35801
<http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=414+Stevens+Drive+Northeast,+Huntsville,+AL&aq=0&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=42.716829,71.982422&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=414+Stevens+Ave+NE,+Huntsville,+Alabama+35801&t=h&z=16>
)

Add it to your Google calendar
<https://www.google.com/calendar/event?eid=X2R0bWoycWhtOTFsa21xaWE2NW5qZW9xZWVkNms0bDJpZXQ4ZyA1dTRyczY2dmN2ZXIxNjRjYzluajY2NXA3dmRjZ2p2N0Bp&ctz=America/Chicago>,
or if you don't use that grab our .ics
<https://256.makerslocal.org/calendar.ics>, and either way, let us know
you’re coming on Facebook
<https://facebook.com/events/413780705701680/?ti=icl>!

We'll have a taco bar going ($5 donations requested — thanks, Norm!), a
birthday cake for the makerspace (boy that has a nice cadence to it), and
the vending machine will be on free-vend. Come hang out, eat, reminisce
about the days of yore, and ruminate about your projects-yet-to-be.

*Also, we need volunteers* to bring decorations and dinnerware. If you
would like to bring something, please respond to this thread and specify
what you are bringing. If you're looking for a theme or guideline, pick
birthday stuff, but anything will do!

So come on down to the shop as we band together, as we look forward to the
next 10 years of *us*: more circuitry, more woodworking, more software,
more cosplay, more everything.
More stories. More making.

See you there.
