I think we had a good time Saturday, and I really appreciate everybody's
enthusiasm, you all asked a lot of great questions. I'm sorry our
fax-printer couldn't generate transparancies that we needed to make it all
come together, but Scott has offered to print stuff for us at no charge. So
when you get your image ready, you can email it to Scott.d.morales at nasa.gov.

Since most of you are working digitally, I have a few pieces of advice.
Your stencil should be all black - grays will print straight black and tone
shift is hard to work with (especially for beginners!) so I'd stick to one
color for now. It doesn't matter what color the final image is, the stencil
needs to be printed straight black. Also, the images need to be less than
8.5 x 11 inches, since that's the size of our transparency. If you can, try
to keep your image high resolution, about 200 dpi. If you're not sure how
to do that with your image software, ask me and I'll show you. There are a
lot of fun options if you want to make an image by hand too, so if you want
to try it I can certainly show you how.

I'd like to do another session to go over the exposure process (with good
transparencies so it works this time ^_^) and we can discuss printing. I
know Nykodemus is going to be out of town this weekend, so maybe Thursday
would be good? I'll be stopping by the shop in the next day or so to
re-coat screens so we can pick up right where we left off Saturday.
