My sister in law, who works as a contractor for a construction firm has
referred me to a couple of links for fixing up the shop.

There's a lot here to go through, honestly I'm having a hard time figuring
out what standards apply to us.  Do we really have to comply with ADA and
get an elevator?  I highly doubt it, but I'm not sure why not and my
paranoia is itching.
