Hello!

    To join Makers Local you will need to submit an application with the endorsement of two board members.  We encourage anyone interested to talk to members and get to know them.  We have several ways for you to get in touch with us.  The fastest way would be to join our IRC channel, #makerslocal, on Freenode.  You can also join our general mailing list to get information about upcoming events.  The shop itself is open to visitors.  There is usually someone there after 5 pm on weekdays and most of the day on weekends. 
    We always welcome the opportunity to learn from and to teach new people.  Feel free to drop by and get to know everyone.

I found you and would like to know what it will takes to join I am a wana be..I have done a little of this and a whole lot of other stuff..but not a master of any..would like to just tinker and learn...so what does one go to join this creative group?
