Novices are encouraged to come. I think the more diversity in the level
of questions we have, the better. If somebody asks a basic question,
more people can help. If somebody asks an advanced question, hopefully
even the novices can get something out of it. If you're a novice but
would still like to come, just be prepared to accept that you won't
necessarily understand everything 100%. Let's just have fun!
I'd like to also encourage beginners to try some things out themselves
before Thursday. This should allow you to at least ask higher quality
and more focused questions. I don't want anybody to be afraid to ask
questions that are clumsy or even way off base, but it's more fun and
productive if at least the most off the wall ones are already out of the
way. If you are an absolute beginner, I highly recommend
