It is a period of computer based war. Rebel hackers, makers, and
gaming enthusiast striking from their hidden space, have won their
first victory against boredom in the form an epic gaming gathering.
They will feast on tasty smokey swine, and do battle in various
virtual 3-D games such as Monday Night Combat, Unreal Tournament,
and the Swedish Empire's ultimate weapon, MINECRAFT. The top 3
players will take home trophies for their block mining abilities,
which can save our people and restore freedom to the gaming galaxy.

note:events may not transpire as described above

*What: *This will be Midsouth Makers 4th LAN
party/fundraiser/cookout event! Pulled pork and fries will be
served. Feel free to bring any games you’d like to play. There will
also be a Minecraft tournament with special prizes!

*When: *October the 29th from 4:30pm until we get tired of seeing at
you.

*Where: *Our space - 2203 Freemont Road, Memphis, TN 38114. We will
be setting up the shop to hold as many contestants as possible.

*Things to bring:*
-A computer (PC or Mac, Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, Power cables, USB
cables, etc.)
-Copies of the game(s) you wish to play.
-Drinks
-If you want to participate in the tournament or just play Minecraft
for fun, you will need at least 1GB of free HD space. (We can
provide copies of Minecraft to you.)
- Headphones
- Ethernet Cable
- Bring your own drinks, or bring cash to buy drinks from us

*Cost: *Free, but donations are highly encouraged because they help
make events like this possible!

*Games:* The typical gauntlet of UT 2004, Monday Night Combat, Team
Fortress 2 and really anything anyone would like to play. Please let
us know if there's something you'd like to play and speak up if
someone mentions something you'd like to play as well! We'll also be
having a Minecraft Tournament!
