heh, we'll leave that up to the Treasurer to figure out. Seriously though, John'll be able to give him the receipts and a breakdown of the donations...
but it saves the Treasurer from having to get cheques cut. which would add latency to getting things done. It'll still be deductible - it just might not show up until the end of year Donation Receipt.

The downside to this is how do you make it tax deductible? Generally
when you donate to a non-profit you get a receipt in case for an
audit.
