[General] MythBusters Tour Opportunity

Guys,

 

I've been working with one of the advance men for the MythBusters tour on
December 21, a Saturday. We've discussed setting up a room near the Theatre
at the Von Braun Center to have a show and tell with Jamie and Adam before
they go on stage. I want to extend this opportunity to Makers 256 as well.
Is anyone interested in showing off their cool projects?

 

Some disclaimers. The scheduling person for MythBusters will not fully
commit to Jamie and Adam being there, but we're told its very likely. And
we'd like to set up everyone's projects in the morning, advertise this and
let the public walk through before the viewing by Jamie and Adam. There is
no cost, but I want to limit each person to showing one and only one project
so no one hogs all of their time. 

 

If there is enough interest we'll go forward. I'm checking with my members
as well. I need to hear some general interest by Monday to move ahead.

 

And thanks to everyone for being so welcoming when I visited a couple
Tuesdays ago.
