Hi Makers!
Are any of you planning on stopping by in Roswel, GA, for the VCF SE 2.0?
It's going to be a great show filled with Altair 8800s, Ataris, Amigas,
etc., and that's just the beginning! I'll have my exhibit with two PDP-8s
(one playing Colossal Cave Adventure) and a very early 4-bit Intel
development system (which will be downloading hackaday.com to a Teletype).
The admission is $10 for one day, $15 for both, unless you're a college
student, in which you get in the door for free. More information can be
found here: www.vintage.org/2014/southeast/ or you can email me with
questions.
The event is very much maker-oriented. We will have soldering workshops all
day, both days, where you can build a portable Simon game. We will also be
hosting some oscilloscope and surface mount soldering tutorials.
I'm not sure if any of you made it to last year's event, but I can say it
was a great show, and this year will be bigger and better yet.
Hope to see you guys there!
Kyle
