[ML-General] [General] the milling machine

The spindle bearings fell out of the milling machine.

I've ordered a manual from Wells-Index. Hopefully it will have a good
picture of how it's supposed to go together.

Jim Ryan bought a face spanner wrench
<http://www.grainger.com/product/PROTO-Adjustable-Face-Spanner-Wrench-1APC1>
to screw the brass bearing retainer nut back in.

Hopefully we can put it back together next Tuesday. I think we'll have to
pull the outer races <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Race_(bearing)> out of
the quill, then reassemble the bearings on the spindle, then install the
spindle with bearings back in the quill.

Does anyone have a bearing puller
<http://www.harborfreight.com/3-jaw-pilot-bearing-puller-4876.html>?

Does anyone have some heater tape? Or an induction heater
<http://www.johndearmond.com/2010/09/24/using-an-inductoin-heater-mro-operations/>?
It may help to heat the quill to get some clearance for removing and then
reinstalling the bearings.
