Some advice, skip 4th completely. 5th takes the few good things about it
and mixes them with all the good parts of 3.5.
I've been playing some Savage Worlds lately. That's a pretty quick system
to get up and running, and doesn't inundate the GM with details like
Pathfinder's prewritten campaigns do.
My favorite is currently Eclipse Phase. It's both a system and a setting.
Want a future that feels futuristic, where "why can't I do X" has a good
answer, and not just technobabble? Then Eclipse Phase is where it's at.
Sadly, I'm no longer in the area, so can't play with you all, unless you
don't mind the annoyances of Skype.
