Hi Jessica,
Not to dissuade you from your project in the slightest, but you probably want to start considering alternative means of producing those molds. It’s just unfortunate timing and unanticipated circumstances on our part.
As someone who has made lots of molds, and without knowing why you want the molds to be vacuum-formed specifically, it sounds like it would be a better job for a rubber mold than anything vacuum-formed. There is a wide variety of rubber out there to meet pretty much any molding need.
The vacuum former is being moved into a private residence where it's not really going to be accessible to the public beyond personal invitation. While it has been in a public space, the three of us have managed it equally as co-owners. But now that it will be in a private residence, logistically speaking its management and access will now mostly fall on that one person. I’m trying not to speak 100% authoritatively on that person’s behalf, but it’s a safe bet that they would agree.
