[ML-General] Lathe Pen Turning Class

Hey makers!

This Tuesday we will be hosting "Office Hours" in the woodworking nook
starting at 1900 with Tom Samper!

Tom will be giving a demonstration on basic woodturning tools and use of
the lathe, as well as a full tutorial on making pens.

Following the demonstration basic pen making kits will be available for
participants to take a “turn” with their own hands at their first wood
turning projects!

Kits will require a minimum 5 dollar donation to the makerspace, with some
exotic wood blanks being available for use with an additional 5 dollar
donation.

A second lathe will be set up to allow for multiple turnings to occur
simultaneously.
