So here's what I got back from my trip to Unclaimed Baggage.

We can get a 5MP camera that has a battery and a charger cable for around
$50

We can get a 5MP camera that doesn't have a battery or a charger cable for
around $35.
If we look around unclaimed baggage, we can probably find a cable that is
compatible with the camera we're looking at if we want to go the extra mile
to
save money.

There are SO MANY Canon cameras at unclaimed baggage, I would be very
surprised if at least one of them didn't accept the custom firmware we would
like
to have.


matt, is there a list of canon cameras known to work with the firmware, or
is the SD card the only approach?
I was able to get the firmware version off of every canon camera I looked
at.
