I'm a little worried about the cost of replacing the G1 if it turns out we
can't recover the payload.

At the meeting I think we found one for $120, and I'd totally be cool taking
a $40 loss.

I haven't been able to find any potential replacements for $120, but I may
not be looking in the right place.
Do any of you know where I could find a replacement for $120?


I found a (free) camera application for android that will let us take 1
photo every 60 seconds, I'm still searching for other programs, but it's the
best I've found so far.

I'm still looking into GPS applications, I think we'll find a good one
there.


Jimshoe found something called a Little Buddy that would take care of
GPS/SMS tracking, it's $60 with one month of free service.
After that it's $15 a month.  If we could pop in a cheap camera set to take
images, that might be a cheaper solution than the G1.


I'm still cool with using my G1, but I'd like to keep my potential losses to
$40 if we do :P
