[HSIS] HSIS Year 2 Is Running!

It seems HSIS Year 2 is in the running with the following terms:

AboutWhat Is It

Hackerspaces in Space: Year 2 expands on last year’s event by adding an
exciting educational component. For every $300 we raise on our Kickstarter
project, we will donate 1 Space Balloon Kit to a school inside the United
States, chosen at random from a list of applicants. The Space Balloon Kit
will be built using the model of the winning HSIS team, and will come with
instructions on how to put it together as well as other information.
The Challenge

To send a weather balloon, with payload, into near-space to capture pictures
of the Earth’s horizon, to return the payload safely to the ground, and to
retrieve the payload.
When

Registration begins Monday, September 26. The launch window closes on
November 28, 2011.
Who’s Competing

Anyone who registers their team on the Hackerspaces in Space website.
