Just thought you guys might find it interesting how many spaces have
contacted us recently about starting up a new space and looking for advice.
This guy makes 3rd this week to the best of my knowledge.

Makers Local 256 and many others are more than willing to help out other
hackerspaces looking to start up. We've helped out Denhac, a group in Ohio,
and a group in Birmingham, AL so far. The best place to ask questions at
this point in time is on irc.freenode.net in #hackerspaces . There's
something like 20-30 hackerspaces represented in there all the time. We've
also recently been contacted by groups in Gainesville, FL and Florence, AL
via that irc channel. Also, go ahead and add yourselves to the list on the
hackerspaces.org wiki and list yourself as planning. You'd be surprised how
many new people you'll get out of that.

Makers Local 256's irc channel is #makerslocal on irc.freenode.net . You
can chat with me and all the other members.
