[ML-General] hardware RAID

I've had good experience with my Promise RAID controller and Promise 4
drive enclosure.

I have four 250 GB drives in there now for 750 GB but I've had those in
there for many years.  I've already had one drive fail over the years and
easily hot swapped it for another 250 GB drive and it brought it all back
up without stopping the computer at all (just like it's meant to!)

Of course if I had to start over I'd just get a Drobo so I could throw any
size hard drives at it:
