[ML-Hams] new mast

Yea, I would not recommend climbing a fiberglass mast. There are no anchor
points needed for tie off.  I agree the better solution is to collapse the
mast to work on the antennas then work on hoisting them back up. Weight and
wind load will be a concern, plus could require guying. A basic j pole for
2m and perhaps a yagi for the hamnet.
