*Upcoming Events*

*Monthly Meeting - May 18:* This month's member meeting will occur at
7:30pm sharp!

*Pig Roast 2017 – June 24:* Pig Roast is coming up quick, and we now have
flyers thanks to Tyler Crumpton! If you'd like to volunteer, please check

*Shop Talk*

*Textiles Expansion: *Travis Crumpton and Jeff Cotten have been leading an
effort to enclose part of the tool area downstairs, which will become the
new textiles area! The first work day was May 7!

*ML256 @ STA:* This fundraiser, held May 1 at Straight to Ale, was a huge
success! This event netted the shop about $350. Thank you to everybody who
came out!

*Ludum Dare #38:* Tyler, Hunter, and Jake formed a team for LD38, and
produced a game about bees in 3 days! Go here

*NACC Sewing Workshop: *This event benefitted the Madison Children's
Theatre, 20 cloaks in total were made!

*Projects in Progress*

*Jeff's Bottle Tree:* Jeff has been working on his bottle tree, which
doubles as an excuse to learn welding, for a few weeks! Visit the blog to
see photos.

*Safety Reminder!*

Please be aware of your surroundings, as well as the status of any tool you
are working with. Much of our equipment is dangerous when used incorrectly.
