[General] help needed with figuring out dvd drive pinouts

I remember you talking about this project before, but I don't remember some
of the other details.  Is this a DVD drive in a laptop or something else?
If it's a laptop, hopefully it's a full IDE interface that isn't locked to a
particular type of device.
